DOMUS VULGARIS

1 - A polyhedron, irregular polyhedron, or non-polyhedron with entry openings. Vault, roof, envelope, cladding, membrane for the purpose of controlled interior climate.
2 - Shelter, habitat, house, building, apartment, a cover that one inhabits for the sake of safe sleep.
3 - A site of creative reproduction, storage, processing, cooking of reality absorbed and taken into our being. The giving, the gifting of meaning to the unstoppable causality of life experience.
4 - The need to locate our intimate being in space. A place of belonging, of adding, of assigning ourselves into surfaces, objects, processes. A primordial coordinate and instrument for measuring space and movement.
5 - A segment of time to which we simultaneously wish to return and to bring into being. Time in which we record and store relationships and emotions. Time of construction, moving in, moving out, renovation.
6 - A non-Newtonian fluid of our drive to control reality. The resistance of home is in exponential function with applied control.
7 - A place of concentration of a hypothetical particle of the fundamental interaction between us and our expanded, protective exoskeleton.
8 - The ultimate site of resistance and the initial site of revolution against repressive ideologies and social systems.
9 - A place for cultivating the most immediate human relationships. The inner ecology of community.
10 - The name of a family of hybrid and meta life-forms which as a class co-evolved with other living beings. Alongside the ordinary home (Domus vulgaris), members of this life-class also include Domus dominans (houses of power) or Domus communis (houses of health, culture, science, etc.).
